Reliable sewage disposal with lifting units

Berlin underground

Foul water and sewage in Berlin's underground stations must be pumped by means of lifting units. Lifting units from Zehnder Pumpen are installed in a large number of Berlin stations. The units are made of corrosion-resistant polyethylene and were installed to replace rusty and leaky metal stations. The units reliably collect and convey all the dirt and wastewater from the public toilets, shops and snack bars inside the heavily frequented underground stations.

4-star hotel complex in Mechelen, Belgium

The Van der Valk Hotel in Mechelen, Belgium, has 124 modern rooms, 6 multifunctional event and conference rooms and an in-house fitness studio. A restaurant with 160 seats and a bar with 80 seats are also located in the hotel complex. Zehnder Pumpen technology is used for wastewater disposal. A total of 3 Kompaktboy Doppel SE 71 sewage lifting units were installed. With their high-performance cutter, the lifting units shred hygiene articles, among other things, and thus ensure reliable operation.
